The LED Clusters are set into plastic disks to eliminate the need for electrical insulation. There are no exposed circuitry. Connection is easy and simple to an existing 12v DC system, or through the use of our transformer/adapter that plug in to a wall outlet. Arrays or clusters, range from 4 LEDs on up to 48 LEDs as standard in-stock assemblies.
Specs: Standard LED clusters are made with 20-25 degree 18,000mcd White LEDs - 22 gauge, 7 inch long leads - red (+) and white (-). Encapsulated for water resistance - NOT waterproof.
See LED Power and Information Here! for the proper number of LEDs to match the watts for the lighting application.
When installing fixtures, arrays, strips, clusters or any LED product which have a total of 6 or more 5mm LEDs, always use a Regulated Transformer, and a dimmer even if you will not use the dimming function. The dimmer contains a PWM/pulse width modulation component which will allow maximum life of the LEDs. See What Is... for the definition of PWM. Warranty does NOT COVER overpowering the cluster! And, if you install more than 6 fixtures with 12 or more LEDs on one circuit, follow this wiring diagram.

These products require the use of a Transformer. Which size?? Multiply the "Current Draw" from the table above for your color by the number of units to be powered. The result is the total current draw or amperage you will need. Derate your transformer by 20% for safety. Low voltage dimmers are also available. Click here. Warranty does NOT cover overpowering the cluster!
Any remaining LED Clusters can be purchased in our Bargain Basement.
