    The MRDP and MRPL bulbs can be used outdoors in scoreboards and other outdoor applications. They require a waterproof gasket when used outdoors. They also require the use of an outdoor rated socket. We do not provide the sockets. Those are readily available at your local hardware or electrical supply store. We've also had great results with these bulbs in our refrigerator at the shop. No strobing, no issues with the colder temperatures. A gasket is not required for used in the fridge.
