RG12A2 Regulator/Filter Module
A higher capacity regulator/filter/supressor
 The RG12A2 Regulator Module delivers true, stable and filtered 12vdc voltage with capacity up to 3000mA of current draw. It is a cost effective solution for those whose power source comes from the higher voltage generating automobile, trucks, RVs, boats, solar systems, and Class 2 and un-regulated transformers. These power sources can and will generate up to 17volts DC, which will kill the LEDs. LEDs require a true and stable 12vdc to operate properly and for their rated life span.The RG12A2 Regulator Module accepts an input range of 13.5v to 32v DC, thus allowing its use with the wide range of LED products we stock. The RG12A2 also offers suppression circuitry for a 15 amp surge for 1.4 seconds. The curent is then filtered, regulated and filtered again for noise and ripple. This product is intended for use with LEDs only. The r12A2 circuitry and mounting brackets are embedded in a highly insulative epoxy based resin and encapsulated in a UL95-5VA flame retardant ABS plastic barrel housing. The RG12A2 module diameter is 1.50" by .650" tall. Mounting hole is 2.31" O.C. 6" color coded leads are provided for easy install with the black/white leads to the fixture, the red/black leads to the power supply. |
